Alfred E. Hordge of London wed Annie Turner of Derby at Hymeneal S Lander’s ranch above Midway. Rev W A Robins officiated while the bride was given away by Lander and J C Dufresne served as best man. The couple will reside on the Mackie Ingram ranch.
Notice states an application will be made to the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia at the next session to incorporate a company with power to construct telephone and telegraph lines across the province. It grants rights to open roads, acquire land, lease lines, amalgamate, borrow money, pledge assets, and receive privileges, dated December 15, 1899.
