Exodus Day Sends Teachers to Summer Posts

Monday marked exodus day for out of town teachers as they left with imperatives and silver medallions for the Record. Ida Ludlow will spend the summer at her Connersville home. Cassady goes to Rushville. Davidsonheads for Carthage Illinois for vacation. Stockinger and wife will summer at their former home Sturgis Michigan. They expect warm welcomes back next fall.

Beck's Art Studio Carthage Late Styles in Photo Mounts

Beck's Art Studio Carthage invites viewing late photo mount styles each Wednesday. Mrs Eunice S Phelps Mrs Helen Gause and Miss Lillian Righter will be in the city this week. May quarterly gathering at the Ridge doubles as a Carthage parade of multi styled turnouts with residents viewing from verandas. Knightstown’s second nine beat Carthage second team 27 to 6 as Reeves struggled and Brooks shut down the visitors. Carthage club unveils new suits, Force Food advertised at B P Leisure's, and Becks Art Studio continues weekly photo visits.

Indiana Eclectic Association opens 38th meeting in Fort Wayne

Dr. Coffin presides as association president and delivered the opening address at the 38th annual Indiana Eclectic Association meeting in Fort Wayne. Supt. W. D Kerlin of Knightstown and county Supt. Gary attended Friday evening’s commencement exercises and praised the program and overall satisfaction of the event.
