Narrow Escape After Train Near Miss South of Town

An early Monday morning accident near a sharp curve south of town involved a party in a farm work wagon and freight train No. 209. A section man and another worker were injured as the wagon was struck, the former suffering a spine injury and the latter a broken collarbone. Neighbors and Dr. J. Al Sipe cared for the injured as they were brought to town for treatment.
