Purdue University School of Agriculture presents a one day program in the Assembly Room of Rushville Court House on Friday June 16 starting at 9 30 in the morning with intermissions. A welcome to all is extended.

Township Trustee Jobin D White, with students, attends the 8th year county Commencement at Rushville. Rev Hunter of Indianapolis delivers the address on Character and Culture. Nine graduates from 21pley township.
Indiana seeks public donations to match a 35000 dollar appropriation for a memorial to Oliver P. Morton. A state board will issue engraved 10 by 14 inch certificates with Morton's portrait to each contributor, sent to D R Lucas at Room 25 State House Indianapolis.
On Tuesday night a thief broke into Kennedy's Cuffe on East Mill Street by removing a transom wire screen. He ate pies and ice cream from the lunch counter, took pipes and possibly cigars, and emptied the lunch drawer of change. The cash drawer remained mostly untouched, and the intruder left the rear door open with a torn shirt fragment left behind.
