John F Leisure sold wheat to Price Earnest, Dayton HB Bitner shipped corn to Cincinnati, R8 S Whitton visited Christmas, Henley injured by a horse remains at home. Rushville cigar makers helped form the Rushville barbers union with Oscar Schmidt presiding and officers named to end Sunday work.
Ellen Bundy daughter of Elias and Sarah Bundy was born in Perquimans County North Carolina July 24 1824 and died December 22 1896 aged 72 years 4 months 22 days She moved with her parents to Indiana at age eight and grew to be a robust pioneer helper in family duties Her life showed self denial and faith in Christ Her public voice was rare but private faith evident She loved worship but was long deprived Six days before death paralysis prevented further conversation leaving mourners with hope in Christ.
