Ralph identified Evans and the pair were taken to Squire Benjamins for further inquiry.
The infant child of Mr and Mrs Herbert Harrold died at their home north of Charlottesville Sunday night from pneumonia after a two to three week illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1 PM at Knightstown Christian Church with burial at Glen Cove Cemetery.
Mrs. Laura Trowbridge died at her home west of Knightstown Tuesday night from cancer. Funeral services will be held at the house Friday morning at 10 oclock with interment at Glen Cove cemetery. She is a sister of Mrs. Gurn Hill of this place.
The Rushville bowling squad faced four games at the Bowling Alleys last night. They had won two of three series, and a loss in the final match would drop the team back to the minor class, prompting renewed effort to clinch the needed victory.
The program committee announced readiness for the institute and weather cooperated with two cold but pleasant days. Exhibits showcased fruit, corn, potatoes, bread and butter, seeds, and other farm products drawing strong interest. Speakers covered soil improvement, cement use on the farm, alfalfa, cattle rearing, money management, and house furnishing with a closing note on the clover crop.
