Horse Thieves Arrested After Stranger Bargains in Town

Two well dressed strangers drove in with a bay horse and piano box buggy. They offered the outfit to W A Miner for 75 then 30. Miner suspected a theft, learned aliases Frank Evans and Harry May, and traced the rig to Bill Ralph of Indianapolis. Ralph identified Evans and the pair were taken to Squire Benjamins for further inquiry.

Infant of Mr and Mrs Herbert Harrold Dies at Home

The infant child of Mr and Mrs Herbert Harrold died at their home north of Charlottesville Sunday night from pneumonia after a two to three week illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1 PM at Knightstown Christian Church with burial at Glen Cove Cemetery.

Mrs Laura Trowbridge Dies at Knightstown Home

Mrs. Laura Trowbridge died at her home west of Knightstown Tuesday night from cancer. Funeral services will be held at the house Friday morning at 10 oclock with interment at Glen Cove cemetery. She is a sister of Mrs. Gurn Hill of this place.
