Susie Addison youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs Frank Addison of Arlington was born April 14 1884 departed this life July 28 1896 aged 12 years 3 months and 14 days. She leaves father mother one sister and four brothers relatives and friends who feel her loss. She was gentle patient and affectionate at school she was kind and obedient with an aspiration to make life within her reach and especially to make it pleasant for those younger than herself.

Stolen clothing case at Wooten and Dennis store
Thieves broke into the Wooten and Dennis store during Sunday night and took new suits, shirts, collars, shoes, and finger rings after entering by removing a north side rear window. The Rushville bloodhounds tracked the trail north to a side road about a mile from town before losing it.

Major James Conner Dead In Fountain City
Major James Conner aged seventy two died Friday night at his Fountain City home after a long illness. A Wayne County figure with a noted Civil War record, he served as captain of Company C, Second Indiana Cavalry, and rose to major by Corinth. Wounded at Chickamauga and Atlanta, he later continued recruiting service before discharge and move to Fountain City in 1877.
