Federal grand jury indicts 62 in WPA conspiracy case

Sistas and Newsoms Injured in Route 40 Crash Near Charlottesville

Miss Wirona Newsom and Mr and Mrs Ss Newsom suffered injuries in a head on collision with Walter F Hall of Wilmington Delaware three and a half miles west of Charlottesville on Route 40. Hall said another car attempted to pass and struck Newsom's Chrysler. Both vehicles damaged. Newsoms treated then home. Newsoms improving slowly. Hall and others aided at scene.

Lucille Chappell long valued fourth grade teacher at Carthage school died at her Walnut Ridge home Monday at 11 30 after weeks of illness. She is survived by brothers Merrill of New Castle and Edwin of Carthage with nieces and nephew.
