Fatal accident claims Greenfield teen helper on misty night
Robert B. Wilson, 17, a Greenfield senior and Indianapolis Star employee, was fatally struck near the Linco Inn while assisting a friend with a flat tire. Ed Williams of Knightstown drove the car. Wilson died at Major Hospital en route. Williams was hospitalized in serious condition at his Knightstown home.

Funeral services were conducted Monday in Greensburg for Mrs Lillie M Ramer 79 sister of Thomas Bird of Arlington. Burial followed at South Park cemetery. Born August 29 1867 north of Greensburg to Edward and Charlotte Powers Bird. Husband Robert Ramer died 1940. Survivors include nephew Russell Bird who was raised since age two at home two sisters Mrs Martha Johnston Indianapolis and Mrs Scott Murphy Greensburg.

Poultry Extension School to Bring Purdue Officials to Rush County
Dr. Moses and Ernie Anderson of the Purdue Poultry Dept will speak at the Rush County poultry extension school on Tuesday evening November 26 at 7 30 in the Courthouse Assembly room. The Apollo Club of New Castle a male chorus will perform at the local theater under Eastern Star sponsorship. The 25 to 30 member group will sing patriotic sacred and love songs over about ninety minutes with soprano soloist Miss Thelma Conner and a bagpipes highlight by a newer member.
