Mr and Mrs Clarkson H Parker of Scott City Kansas and Mr and Mrs Murray Parker hosted a dinner for Mr and Mrs W H Binford. The Parkers hosted guests from Richmond and Montezuma. Abbie Clark had gastroenterostomy at Sexton Sanitarium Rushville with surgeons Sexton and Green. John T Clark visited Abbie Sunday. Miss Mary Clark of Hagerstown stays with John T Clark. Miss Mary Chappell was in Chicago. Friends Quarterly Meeting to be held at Walnut Ridge Saturday and Sunday with Rev Morton C Pearson of Indianapolis expected. Rev and Mrs J M Wines from Cleveland stayed with James O Gray Friday to Sunday. Wines preached at Riverside. Mrs Mont Wiggins returned to Hope Friday.
Rev. and Mrs Jared P Binford plan to travel with Rev Charles O Whitely from Indiana to Newberg Oregon. Mrs Binford has a sister Mrs Gilbert and Rev Binford two sisters Mrs Joseph Wilson and Mrs Michael Terrell. Miss Mamie Moore a nurse will join the party. They will leave Richmond November 19. R F Stanley and Mr and Mrs Henry McKvaine will care for the Binford home.
I will be at the Gas office for the purpose of receiving electric light money on the 8th, 4th and 5th of each month from 2 to 4 and 6 30 to 8 30 p m All bills must be paid by the 10th of the month or the current will be shut off.

Seventeen new members joined Fletcher M E Church at Sunday morning service with three more at night. East St Christian Church accepted eighteen, while seven youths and eleven others were immersed at Race Sunday and the church baptistry. Friends Monthly Meeting added thirty members by letter and request and will be publicly welcomed Sunday.
The Pastor's Aid plans a market on Wednesday afternoon ahead of Thanksgiving to raise funds and support community service programs.
