Thirty girls from the Glee Club presented The Feast of the Little Lanterns, a Chinese style operetta, Friday and Saturday to raise funds for a school Victrola. Miss Wilkin directed with careful detail as Miss Overman led as Princess Chan and Miss Free as Ow Long.
The Christian Helpers meet next Thursday with Mrs Oren Beher and the Pastor's Aid hosts a Penny Supper at the church tonight. Dishes cost one penny and can be eaten anywhere in the church. Sunday School attendance last Sunday was 89 and the sermon topic Sunday morning is Playing the Fool. Mrs J Edgar Williams traveled to Richmond Saturday to join a program committee for the Yearly Meet Christian Endeavor in May at Spiceland. Members of the Foreign Missionary Society preparing materials for the Primary department African field are asked to meet 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Public Library.

Members of the W L C and invited guests gathered Monday afternoon in the Library basement newly furnished room. The program included Irish Anecdotes and Treland Up-to-date readings by Mrs Grace H Porter and Mrs Owen S Hill. A pitch-in lunch followed. Out of town guests included Mrs Guy Abercrombie Mrs Frank Hackleman Mrs Frank Sparks Miss Eva Ball of Rushville and Mrs Morton Stanley of Charlottesville. The next meeting will be hosted by Mrs John W Johnson.
Mrs B F Hensley and Miss Elizabeth Bidgood invite Carthage residents to an art exhibit and sale on Saturday afternoon and evening March 27 at the home of Mr B F Hensley in Knightstown.
