Former Resident Robert L. Hamilton Dies at 75
Former resident Robert L. Hamilton, 75, died last Thursday at the Masonic Home in Franklin where he and Mrs. Hamilton had lived for six years. He came to this area about 1892, worked at the local paper mill, later ran a Delphi grocery, and served as a night watchman in Marion. He was a native of Ohio and is survived by his wife at Franklin. Funeral services were held Saturday and interment was in Green.

Work train strikes car at Henderson crossing
A Big Four work train struck a car driven by Walace Walls, employed by Henry Jessup, about 7 o'clock last Thursday morning at the crossing north of Henderson. Walls escaped with cuts and bruises after being pinned in the car carried on the engine pilot for about 400 feet. The car was nearly demolished. The crossing has seen several accidents, with two or three fatalities previously.
