Husband Charles Catlin preceded her in death. She once ran a hotel in Manilla and later in Anderson. Funeral held in Rushville with burial at East Hill Cemetery near Arlington. Carthage business leaders hosted a dinner in the Auditorium basement to honor officials of Dixon Board Mills Inc. Senator Rowland H. Hill served as toastmaster. Wesley Dixon Thomas Sellen and John Titsworth spoke on efficiency and service. Other remarks praised the mill, and a committee was appointed to revive the Round Table Club.
Sectional tourney fans holding season tickets for the new Rushville gym will be admitted 45 minutes before games. Single admission doors open 30 minutes prior. E B Heifner handles season ticket sales. The W L C met at Mrs Ella J Coffin's home with 17 members present, discussing Bible readings and public school Bible instruction.
