Injured Couple in Rushville Area Car Crash
Mr and Mrs Joe Michael of Milroy were injured Wednesday afternoon when their car was struck on old State Road 3 south of Rushville. The car overturned and both were taken to Rushville hospital. Mrs Michael suffered a broken collar bone and multiple cuts while Mr Michael had bruises and shock. He is a former Carthage resident known locally.

The Rev. George H. Holwager resigns after four and a half years as pastor of the First Christian church in Eaton to accept a Vanderbilt University scholarship.
