Roudebush opposes administration's foreign aid bill
Indiana Republican Congressman Richard L. Roudebush announced he will vote against the administration's multibillion dollar foreign aid bill set for debate in the House this week. He called it the worst aid package yet and warned it would inflame inflation, harm the balance of payments, and fuel black markets while noting the bill's $13.8 billion price tag amid Vietnam War pressures. He criticized LBJ's spending and said only targeted military and economic aid should be considered.
