Death of Prof J H Scholl longtime Milton Carthage schools
Prof J H Scholl age 70, long time superintendent of Rushville and Carthage schools, died at his Milton home of apoplexy Wednesday night. Born February 13 1865 in Fayette County he studied at State Normal Terre Haute Indiana University and Columbia. Survived by widow Sarah Marlatt and two daughters Mary Ann Elliott and Mrs Joseph Cross. Funeral Saturday at 2 PM at Milton Methodist Church with burial in East Connersville Lutheran cemetery.

Three-Year-Old Boy Killed In Driveway Accident
The three-year-old son of Mr and Mrs Kenneth Morris living north of Charlottesville was fatally injured when a car backed over him in the driveway near the garage. His 16 year old brother Paul backed the car and a rear wheel passed over the child. Funeral services were held Monday with burial in Arlington cemetery.
