John Terhune aged 85 died Thursday midnight at his nephew James B. Terhune’s home northwest of here after a long illness. He served in the Civil War with his brother, who enlisted the same day. Survived by son Harry L. Terhune of Louisville and a sister and brother. Funeral held in Greensburg with burial in South Park cemetery circle of soldiers.
A roof fire at Otto Wyatt's residence west of town started from burning soot around 5 30 p m on Friday. Neighbor Byron Gurley discovered the blaze while bringing in his bicycle and Mr Wyatt fought the flames until they were out.
