James A. Heifner 66 died of a heart attack about 8 a.m. Wednesday at his home northwest of Carthage after a period of failing health. Born April 3, 1879 in Shelby county, he was married to Lesti Sharp in 1901. Surviving are his widow, one son Edwin, two sisters Mrs Ebert Gardner and Mrs Clara Bebout, and three grandchildren Keith Rosella Patsy Ann. Funeral at Carthage Christian church Friday at 2 p.m. with Rev Basil Stultz. interment Arlington cemetery.
