Buckleys sell fruit ranch move to Mays road farm
Mr and Mrs Charles Buckley sold their Clearlake Washington fruit ranch and relocate a mile east of Carthage on Henry Stenger’s Mays road property. Edgar Stenger stays on the west coast with seafaring work en route to China. Mrs Buckley once lived here over twenty years ago and the family recently met P W Tweedy in Seattle before a stop in Indianapolis and return here.

Tragedy near Rushville Claims School Hack Driver
Oliver Mack about 35, a school hack driver and Farm Bureau meeting drum player, was killed Wednesday morning when his hack collided with a westbound traction car at Hackleman crossing west of Rushville. His flaming vehicle burned beyond recognition. He was returning home after dropping pupils and is survived by his wife and son Oliver Jr. and by his parents Mr and Mrs Frank Mack.

Charles Young Injured On Hill Near Town
Charles Young of the south side was injured Saturday when his horse eye outfit stalled on a hill. He attempted to assist by walking on a wheel spoke, fell as the wheel slipped, and was taken to Robert W. Long hospital in Indianapolis. X rays showed a fracture of the left hip.
