On next Sunday evening the girls of the congregation will present the playlet A Missionary Clinic. Mrs Kyser's Sunday School Class The Merry Maids is sponsoring the entertainment. An offering will be taken to support Missionary Society pledges.
A Sunday morning program at 10 30 features the church choir with the Stan dard Bearers Society assisting. The first part covers the General Conference in Atlantic City with delegates from over forty nations. The second part highlights the churchs young ladies work. Special music and a preaching by the pastor at evening services.
Morning Worship at 10 30 a m and Evening Worship at 7 30 p m with Rev W T Crawley returning for services. Christian Helpers meet Thursday afternoon with Mrs Chas Parish inviting all to worship.
The Merry Maids of Friends church present a 7:30 Sunday program featuring The Missionary Clinic playlet plus two piano solos by Maria Henley and Ada Von Publow a musical reading by Ramona Jane Winfield and a reading by Mary Elizabeth Weaver.
Kenneth LeRue Rhodes son of Mrs Ina M Rhodes and the late Walter Rhodes will graduate with DePauw University's June class. He earned four years in journalism on The DePauw and contributed to The Yellow Crab and DePauw Magazine. Rhodes held key campus roles and helped lead the Student Council and Mirage yearbook efforts.
Dr and Mrs F H Riley of James town visited Mrs R C Hill and her son Frank on Sunday in a local social note illustrating community ties.
Arlington High School welcomed about 110 alumnae for its annual meeting on Saturday evening April 23. Edwin Foust of Cambridge City was guest speaker after a wholesome banquet while the Hiwan Melody Boys provided music and a four piece jazz group played for dancing. New officers installed include Mae Addison as president Howard Earnest as vice president and Joy Downey as secretary treasurer.

Charles Webber's truck halted at a railroad crossing in Richmond was rear ended by John Vanburgen of Cicero Illinois. The crash demolished the coupe carrying Mr and Mrs Vanburgen. he was taken to Reed Memorial hospital. Also noted are the Nelsons moving to Logan Nelson property on North Main and new deputy assessors C G Hill and S O McCarty aiding real estate ratings in Carthage.
F. J. Sims and son Dwight join Mrs. D. P. Dunn and Mrs. Grace Porter at the Jordan River Revue in Muncie last Thursday night, enjoying local entertainment.

The Friendship Class met at the home of Mrs. Charles Norris last Wednesday evening. Mrs. Hubert Hill assisted as hostess. Mrs. J. A. Lineback gave an interesting reading. Mrs. Grace Porter led the entertainment and refreshments were served at the close.

Officials of the Dairymen's League Cooperative Association say New York milk production troubles could be solved if 75 percent of independent dairymen join the League. They warn that without broad cooperation the cooperative movement may fail, threatening farmers' future.

Mrs. Thomas Norville aged 72 was found dead in her Rush county home by her husband around 3 30 Thursday afternoon. Born October 24 1859 in Shelby county she was the daughter of Jerimiah and Maria Young and married to Thomas Norville August 19 1885. Seven surviving children live in Carthage Orville and Vernie Norville near Greenfield Robert in Connersville and Russell at home with ten grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday at 2 pm at Gwynneville U B church with Rev Swartz in charge and burial followed in Hanover cemetery Shelby county.
The undersigned Susan Hilbert is appointed Executrix of the estate of Samuel F. Hilbert, late of Rush County Indiana, deceased. The court declares the estate solvent. Floyd Newby is the attorney and Charles L. Newhouse is the Clerk of Rush Circuit Court. Date April 2, 1932.
Sunday guests including Mr and Mrs Louis Campbell and family attended the marriage of Miss Mary Newsom to Glen Peterson at the Christian church after services. Mrs Peterson is related to the Newsom family of the area and Mr Peterson is the son of Mr and Mrs John Peterson.
Roy Hobbs and Mrs Karleen Hobbs along with Ermae Grant of Rushville Missouri traveled to Indianapolis Monday evening to attend a surprise party for Donald Renegar son of Luther Renegar. The event at Mrs Grace Pilcher home near Carmel featured dinner and a large birthday cake for twenty guests. The guests enjoyed social time afterward.
Mary Juanita Akers, daughter of Mr and Mrs Lem Akers, was taken to Riley Hospital Indianapolis Tuesday. An operation was performed to relieve an abscessed gland following mumps, and she rested well with hope for a speedy recovery.
Howard Henley and Reverend Frank C. Guyatt went to Richmond last Friday for Henley to attend a session of the financial board of the Five Years Meeting.
Mr and Mrs Cecil Pike welcome a seven pound boy born Wednesday morning. The newborn has been named Richard Marvin and both mother and baby are doing nicely.
