Prince of Adventure at Assof 1838 senior play
The Assof 1838 senior class presented Prince of Adventure on Friday night to about 400 attendees. Agnes Copher as Quathia Sheridan leads a melodramatic plot with Everard and Alixe among royal intrigues in Phantasia. The cast includes Max Nowotne, Margaret Mann, Virginia McBride, and Elmer Porter. The production drew praise for its entertainment value and strong performances.

Two patrons Mrs. O. W. Righter and Mrs. Rebecca Healey donated books last week. Featured titles include The First of the Heasiers by C. C. Eggleston and The Port of Missing Men by Nicholson and Pri and £ by Bacheller. Miss Marsh’s geography class displays scrapbooks with illustrated country studies and Miss Chappell’s fourth grade pictures. The display remains through school end with public invitation. Library loans averaged 108 per opening day last month.

Death of George Humes in Indianapolis Canal Accident
Mr and Mrs Louis Humes attend funeral services for George Humes age 69 of Indianapolis held last Saturday in Muncie He was employed by the city of Indianapolis and on April 5th fell in the canal there and drowned His body was recovered and a pulmotor was used but to no avail He was a native of Delaware county.
