Davidson fund aids Texas students with new loan scholarships
Fifty freshmen planning to enter the University of Texas in September may receive aid from the Wilbur B. Davidson fund. Preference goes to Texas residents who rank in the top half of their high school class and have not attended college before. The fund, established by Davidson of Houston, will be invested permanently with income used for loans to poor but capable students.
