Cold Storage Facilities For Better Farm Living Proposed
Community movement in Carrollton and northwest Dallas County advocates a refrigerated storage plant with jans or containers to preserve vegetables and meat. If funded by renters at 10 to 12 dollars yearly, the facility would store pork, mutton, poultry and other foods year round, improving living conditions within a service radius. Local backers like Chae C McKamy push to secure support, noting success of similar plants in Dallas and calling for affordable access and convenience.
