Man fatally shot in Carrollton public safety incident
Wilford Gamble a 50 year old Black man was struck and fatally injured by a 38 caliber public safety item early Sunday at 3 32 am on West College. Patrolman Frank Johnson investigated with Police Chief Bill Cooper stating a second Black man William Lee Wilkerson 55 was held in Dallas County jail awaiting autopsy and grand jury probe. Witnesses saw the incident and Gamble’s services were planned for Wednesday.

Tiniest Kelleher Triplet Dies After Birth
The tiniest and youngest of the T. D. Kelleher triplets born 8 urday at Methodist Hospital died Monday morning. The 3 Ibs 3 oz infant died at 8 0 am. The other two boys were reported healthy. The family lives at 1913 Crosby Road, Carrollton.
