Reverend Ridley Named Pastor at Dallas Trinity Church

Robert H. Ridley, pastor of Carrollton Methodist since 1944, is appointed by the North Texas Annual Conference as pastor of Trinity Church in Dallas. Ridley family to move this week to 3548 University Blvd. A 1969 Ford was presented by the Methodist congregation and Romer E. Clayton Motor Co. The new minister is Rev. Q. C. Randolph, moving from Wichita Falls.

Girl Scout Day Camp Committee Meets Friday

Municipal bond issue passes by wide margin

Voters approved a 75000 municipal bond by over four to one on Saturday. Total turnout 140 with five propositions. Funds will extend drainage and water works, pay for park and street improvements, construct a combined fire station city hall and community house, and remap present municipal properties. Kimsey compliments bride elect with kitchen shower

Mrs Lawrence Kimsey hosted a coffee and kitchen shower for Miss Mary Jeune Hail, bride elect of Spencer James Brewer of Dallas, at her Francis Street home Tuesday morning.
