Carrollton Girl Completes College Degree at TSCW

Canton June 6 A Carrollton girl Miss Kenelop Kaneiy daughter of Mie Kenelop of Carrollton graduated with the largest class in Texan State College for Women history. 250 graduates heard President L J Hubbard as commencement speaker. a three day mentor program preceded the exercise. Miss Kaneiy majored in fine and applied arts with work in English and education and belonged to the Art Club Brackenridge Club and Dallas Club.

Public Library Open to Gusto and Surrounding Community

The Thy Careolttan public library is now open to Careolle ton and nearby communities. Everyone 18 invited. Located in Rainbow Pharmacy, it houses many books. Mrs. A. Good oversees operations and can assist in selecting titles. The library closes Mondays and Fridays. Tuesday hours are 4 to 6 pm. A children story hour runs Wednesdays from 9 to 10 am. Saturday hours are 1 to 5 pm.

She majored in English and spoke at the baccalaureate services led by Claude Selecman. The Delta Zeta sorority honored the graduates with a luncheon at the Baker hotel Marine Room, with Betty as one of two sorority members graduating.
