A foggy Sunday at Caypoljinn Heid hosted a county fair style softball event with teams No. 1 and No. 2, Holton and Wright on mound for Dist. No. 1 while Arnold pitched for No. 2. Crowds backed strong defense as No. 2 edged No. 1 by a slim margin. two doubleheaders and several decisive scores followed, highlighting pitchers, fielding, and late-game bursts.

Lions Club Adds Two Members in Carrollton

Carrollton Lions Club welcomed Col. Henry D. Lindstey and G. P. Isom as new members at a Wednesday evening gathering hosted by Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Conner. The attendance was fair and the event focused on inviting those who wished to attend a revival meeting.
