Carroll High students help register voters on a Saturday
Government students under Sharon Dentlinger volunteered for Voter Registration Day in Carroll and Glidden. They worked in three to four person shifts from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Hy-Vee and Casey’s, assisting registrants and sharing election information. More than half earned class credit, and 18 year olds in the group noted impending eligibility to vote. Secretary of State Chet Culver visited the volunteers.
