Plans Under Way for Carroll Habitat for Humanity Home
Bunz says the project aims to provide a decent place to live and lift the volunteers and beneficiaries into community life. He notes the program rests on Christian principles and will rely on fundraising, donated land, and building volunteer teams, especially from the construction trades. The local board includes Rev Mark Heath Earl Kallemeyn Kathryn Braddy and others. Habitat operates globally with more than 1500 affiliates in 53 countries and encourages a tithe of 10 percent to fund overseas builds.
