Iowa youth push for youth led leadership roles statewide
The Iowa Conversation on Youth Development gathered 148 youth and 136 adults at Iowa State University with Carroll County delegates Julie and Alicia Clancy. Delegates urged youth input in decisions affecting them and broader adult youth partnerships, aiming to create school board and city council roles, leadership classes, and a statewide advisory board to oversee grants and funding for youth programs.
