Extension program promotes science in Iowa schools
Iowa State University Extension and 4 H Youth Development run the E SET program, providing hands on science and technology education across Iowa. Jay Staker and Steve Truby bring workshops to classrooms, reaching more than 1,000 teachers annually. A Carroll County workshop occurred in August at Holy Trinity School Templeton, with strong county staff endorsement and goals to expand science learning statewide.
