Former County Woman Killed In Auto Crash
Mrs. Willis McIntosh of Mill Shoals died in a head on collision Monday night in heavy fog on Hingis Route 1 south of Lawrenceville. Her husband Dr. Carmel McIntosh and Russell Conrad of St. Francisville also died. Betty McIntosh and granddaughter Mary Elizabeth were briefly injured. their son-in-law Jack McIntosh reported no injuries. Dr. McIntosh, a 1921 Indianapolis Veterinary College graduate, had practiced in Carmi and Mt. Vernon before moving to Carmi.
