Death of Mrs Mirtle Snyder After Tuberculosis
Mrs. Mirtle Snyder wife of Ira O Snyder died at her home east of town on Saturday afternoon September 14 after months of pulmonary tuberculosis. Born February 2 1875 she was 38 years 7 months and 1 day. She married Ira O Snyder December 25 1910 and leaves husband son and parents. Funeral Tuesday at Indian Prairie Baptist Church with Rev Kiger. Interment in the adjacent cemetery. The year sees rising attendance as coal miners and families move to Paxton, with Wooley Coal Company planning thirty new houses.
