Corner Stone Laying Program Planned in Carlisle
Arrangements are set for the corner stone ceremony of the new joint Carlisle High School on Tuesday afternoon September 9. The event is hosted by the Grand Lodge of Indiana Masons with Carlisle Lodge No 3 F and A M, inviting Masons from Sullivan Knox Washington Linton and Terre Haute lodges to attend. A 10 30 a m reception precedes a 1 30 pm parade led by the Carlisle Concert Band with a dinner after, then the corner stone will be laid with remarks by D W Helms and M W Grand Master Charles P Benedict and state officials.

Mrs. Jane Dunbar Trimble Died at Home in Carlisle
Mrs. Jane Dunbar Trimble wife of William M. Trimble longtime Haddon township farmer died at her Carlisle home late Saturday August 30 1913 of tuberculosis aged 68 years 6 months and 25 days Funeral services were held at the home Monday at ten conducted by Rev Atkinson of Bloomington Interment in Trimble cemetery She was born February 5 1845 in Jefferson County Ohio and came to Sullivan County in 1864 She and William M. Trimble had eleven children and she leaves a large family including Homer, Ellen, Eliza, Etta, Scott, Fred, Frank, Roy, Gay and others.
