Auto Kills Jake Snapp In Chicago Transit Crash
Telegram from Chicago reports Jacob Snapp died after being struck by an automobile on Wednesday night. Brother Ransom Snapp of Sullivan received the notice. W L Snapp of Princeton travels to arrange funeral details. The deceased was a Knox county native, blind, and a regular Carlisle visitor. Further accident particulars will appear next week.

Hack vs Haddon Judgment in Small Claims Suit
Frank Hack sued Flora A. Haddon for an account totaling 200 dollars. Justice Wm. E. Cowle awarded 45.95 to the plaintiff on the August 25 trial. Benjamin Sproatt longtime resident of Oaktown dies at 7 00 am after a brief illness He was 97 and had served as justice of the peace and township trustee He is survived by six children Helen Sproatt and Mrs Jno W Wolfe among them The funeral was held Saturday afternoon with services for the family and community honor.
