Miss Flo Wilma Curtner daughter of Mr and Mrs W J Curtner of Carlisle wed Frank M Dobson son of Mr and Mrs J B Dobson of Atlanta Ga The ceremony was at eight oclock conducted by Rev I V Barbie The reception followed at the Curtner home Attendants were Mrs W Akin and RG Dobson The couple plan to live in Clemson College South Carolina and Richmond Virginia before settling at Clemson The wedding was a social highlight with out of town guests from Pittsburg Vincennes Atlanta and Terre Haute.

Mrs Elizabeth Gobin Davidson lifelong Haddon township resident dies May 12 at daughter Mrs Fred Lisman’s Carlisle area home after pneumonia. Funeral at Lisman home May 14 conducted by Rev Elliott H Whittaker and Rev L Christian. she leaves six children and many grandchildren. Burial Engle cemetery.

Baccalaureate Sermon Heard By Carlisle Graduates
Rev. L V Barbie preached the baccalaureate sermon for the Carlisle high school 1911 graduates in Carlisle Christian church. Fifteen graduates in caps and gowns attended with the faculty. The sermon titled Owe No Man Anything discussed how one is repaid by the world and urged graduates to consider what they will pay in return. It was praised as one of Carlisle’s best for the occasion.
