Mrs. Elizabeth Hoke Dies After Brief Illness
Elizabeth Brentlinger Hoke, wife of John A. Hoke of Carlisle, died at the Hoke home after a short influenza illness. Born March 12, 1849 near Louisville, she was the daughter of Joseph and Camilla Brentlinger and the last of ten siblings. She married John A. Hoke on January 3, 1875 and leaves five children and two grandchildren. Funeral at Bethlehem M E Church with Rev. A. M. Couchman officiating.
