A new long distance telephone wire between Carlisle and Vincennes was completed Saturday morning ahead of schedule. Ten linemen worked Friday and Saturday, installing the line with skilled efficiency. The extra circuit will serve Oaktown Bisseron and Emison and be especially useful during melon season.
