Akin Re-elected To School Board As June Meeting Approves Taxes

Brick Walks Progress In Eureka Area
The four foot brick walk from the Eureka hotel corner to Sarah Howard's corner is finished by Ham Stansberry. He laid 160 feet on Mrs. Ann Parvin's property this week. Elmer Johnson added 80 feet of four foot brick walk in front of his home last week. The town still expects 6,000 brick from Chas Meyer on the old contract and has agreed to a new contract for 100,000 more brick this summer.

Christian Endeavor State Convention Heads to Indianapolis
The Christian Endeavor state convention will meet in Indianapolis in June 2029 with half fare rail travel. Telephone Line to Fairbanks Let to McConnell
The contract for erecting the telephone line to Fairbanks was awarded to Mark McConnell at $6.85 per mile. It covers construction only. material costs go to the company.
