Let Contract for Building
At a continued meeting of the Advisory Board and Trustee of Haddon Township the contract for the addition to the Paxton school building was let to C. B. Willis & Sons for 11150.00. The heating and plumbing contract was trimmed to 2613.00 by American Warming and Ventilating Co after bids were opened. Officials cited bond limits preventing plumbing inclusion and expect work to start in about six weeks after bonds are sold.

Vandals Stop Well Drilling At Carlisle School Site
A 100 foot deep well at Carlisle’s new joint high school site was sabotaged when the plug was removed and rubbish dumped into the casing. C B Willis & Sons discovered the damage while attempting to restore pumping capability. a new drill may be needed if cleaning fails. The offenders would face full legal punishment.
