Carlisle town board approves Western Indiana Traction franchise to build a single main track and one switch over 50 years. Overhead wire cars limited to 10 mph in town and 5 mph at crossings. three year start and five year to complete Vincennes to Sullivan. Surveys to begin. right of way to be bought. tax levy unchanged at 45 cents and 10 cents extra for school bond interest.

Soldiers' Reunion At Sullivan July 20 21

A soldiers reunion will be held at Sullivan on Monday and Tuesday July 20 and 21 to commemorate Peach Tree Creek.
