Fire destroys pool room and adjoining properties
A fire discovered around 2 a.m. destroyed the pool room owned by Wm 3B Shepherd and caused extensive damage to adjacent ware rooms and the post office building. The blaze disrupted telephone service townwide, with insurance totaling 820,800 covering many losses. several business occupants reported uninsured damages.
