Vincennes Ind Jan 13 The last will and testament of Wm H Vollmer was probated in the Knox Circuit court this morning The will directs payment of debts and funeral expenses and that the remainder goes to the widow Bonds and specific bequests include 5000 to the German Evangelical Synod of North America 5000 to the Y M C A 5000 to the church 118000 to be divided among relatives upon the death or remarriage of the wife The will was made Jan 3 1917 at Good Samaritan Hospital the day before gall stone surgery

Hobo Loses Clothes After Stay At Paxton Mine
A hobo reported to Sheriff Hale that he and an accomplice spent the night in a Paxton mine out-building. Upon waking he found his friend had stolen his mackinaw and shoes, leaving an old red sweater and worn shoes in their place. He tracked the suspect toward the C E I junction but lost him amid many tracks. Chief Rich aided in locating the man described as wearing a nobby red and black checked mackinaw and real leather shoes.
