J A Waddell a well known farmer living west of Carlisle Sullivan county Indiana died Thursday January 7 at about four o'clock in the afternoon after years of tuberculosis illness He was 51 years 10 months and 1 day old Born March 6 1863 in Madison county Indiana he moved with his parents to Sullivan county and lived west of Carlisle He married Ida B Tuttelle March 6 1895 and the couple had six children three daughters Nellie Maxine Irene and two sons Lee and Charles He is survived by his wife three daughters two sons two brothers Oscar of Indianapolis and Curt of Gill township The funeral was held Saturday at the home conducted by Rev S Reid with interment in the I O O F cemetery
