Serious Accident Near August Goedeke House In Town
Pearl and John Van Meter on ponies met the township school wagon driven by Henry Carrico. Carrico trotted left and struck Van Meter's pony, throwing the rider. The left wheels ran over the pony and the front axle struck Van Meter. Initial rib injuries were later ruled as bruises. The pony had a broken leg and was shot.
