Haddon Township Second Wet or Dry Election Granted
A petition for a special option election in Had don township to decide the wet or dry status was granted by the County Commissioners. Voting will occur January 28 with J Frank Alumbaugh and Wm B Shepherd named as election commissioners and same voting places as the general election.

Ed Akin Acquires Frazee Stock In Week’s Trade
Ed Akin of Peoples State Bank closed a deal with Frank B. Ridgway first to own John G. Frazee general merchandise stock. Ridgway exchanged for forty acres of land joining his farm and Frazee held half of 110 acres southwest of town. Akin took charge Friday with Ver Nor Johnson as store manager and Till Ogle assisting for a special sale set to begin Saturday.
