The Haddon Township branch of the Indiana Farmers Association will hold a meeting in the high school auditorium in Carlisle on Friday night February 13 at 7 30 p.m. A state organization speaker will deliver an address. The public is invited and farmers not yet members are specially urged to attend. A membership drive will follow on Saturday and Monday.

Funeral for A. P. Asbury Held in Farmersburg
The funeral of A. P. Asbury who died at his daughter's home Mrs. George Gritton in Eagle Idaho was conducted Monday at 2 PM at the Farmersburg Methodist church. Rev A M Couchman formerly of Evansville led the service and burial followed at Fletcher Chapel about three miles north of Farmersburg.

John Peyton Dies at Home Near Paxton
John Peyton aged 77 died at his daughter’s home one half mile south of Paxton after years of ill health. He was born in Parke county Indiana and lived in Had don township forty years. Survived by three sons and three daughters and twelve grandchildren. Funeral was held at Providence church with burial in Paxton cemetery.
