George Knotts born Uniontown Fayette County Pennsylvania December 25 1817 died December 12 1898 married Elizabeth Larry in 1838 later moved to Ohio then Indiana took up farming later in life. He joined Masonry in 1840 and was active in Carlisle Lodge. Also noted are death notices for Mrs Bell Allen daughter of Mr and Mrs Geo Funk Mrs America Hackett Benjamin Adams and infant son of Wm Pittsford with funeral details and expressions of sympathy.

On December 12, 1898, members of the Indian Prairie Baptist Church at the Parsonage hosted a basket meal in honor of Mrs Rev Sandford celebrating her 41st birthday. About 125 guests attended and she received many gifts as Rev Sandford departed for Florida that evening to seek health improvement.
