Auto accident kills man near Carlisle in 1920s report
One man died and another was injured when a Cadillac-8 driven by Garret A. Petty of Terre Haute struck a Buick and crashed into a telephone pole on state road one and a half miles south of Carlisle. Ford H. Kluga of Mt. Vernon survived after multiple broken ribs and shock.

T S Risinger, longtime proprietor of hardware furniture and undertaking in Carlisle, has sold the hardware and furniture business and the real estate to John G Frazee. Frazee, active in Carlisle business for twelve years, takes immediate possession. Risinger will focus on the undertaking business with son in law Arthur V Kresge. a new overtaking establishment is planned on the lot between the Rooksberry theatre and Vanmeter Garage, offices to remain at Frazee store.
