Carlisle High School class play draws large crowds
Commencement events open with the annual class play titled Aaron Boggs, Freshman, featuring most of the senior class. Russell Combs, Wayne Campbell, and Wayne Anderson receive praise for strong performances as the audience fills the big auditorium. The program continues with Sunday baccalaureate by L. H. Graham of Vincennes, a Junior reception at the Public Library, a banquet, and a brief dance at Pilmer Ridgway hall.

Miss Edith Hennon of Oaktown and Mr. George Knotts of Carlisle were married by Rev. Cross in Sullivan on April 15. The bride, a longtime Oak town schoolteacher, and the groom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Knotts, plan to reside on a farm west of Carlisle. A shower at Mrs. August Holm kampers’s home followed the wedding with many gifts.
